Celebrate the women of art history with this gorgeous greeting card featuring Signora Ortensia Leoni Cordini as Saint Dorothy by old master painter Elisabetta Sirani!
Elisabetta Sirani was an Italian Baroque painter and printmaker. She took over her father’s workshop and taught many artists, especially contributing to women artists’ development during the Renaissance period. Despite her death at the young age of 27, Sirani was an accomplished artist who produced over 200 paintings, 15 etchings, and hundreds of drawings.
This greeting card is produced by Art Herstory, a woman-owned company working to make art by women accessible to art lovers.
