Audrey Handler is known as one of the pioneers of the Studio Glass Movement, an artistic revolution that began in the 1960s with UW-Madison professor Harvey Littleton. She began working in glass in 1965 as one of Littleton’s first female glass students. In 1971, Handler was one of the founding members of the Glass Art Society, an international organization that looks to support glass artists.
